Every DeMolay Advisor is trained by DeMolay International, and has to pass a background check before they can take office. Background checks are also randomly made during the entire time of service of the advisor.
Mark A. Peebler, Chairman

Dad Mark A. Peebler
Dad Peebler is a Senior DeMolay and Past Master Councilor (1977) from Galveston Chapter, (active) 1974-1981. He completed all five of the Leadership Correspondence Course Lessons to earn his Lamp of Knowledge in October 1974. In June of 1976, Dad Peebler earned his Representative DeMolay Award (RD). He was Knighted in Houston Priory Holy Order of the Fellow Soldiers of Jacques DeMolay on February 17, 1979. He is a Past Senior Warden of Tucker Lodge #297 A.F. & A.M. in Galveston (1992-1993), and a member of Alvin Lodge #762 A.F. & A.M. in Alvin. He is also a member of Park Place Chapter No. 458 Royal Arch Masons, Park Place Council No. 373 Royal & Select Masters, and Park Place Commandery No. 106 Knights Templar. Dad Peebler is a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Alvin. He has been a Boy Scout Assistant Scoutmaster at Troop 400 Grace Episcopal Church Alvin for two years, after being a Cub Scout Assistant Den Leader in Pack 400 for four years. Dad Peebler is the president and chief inspector at South Coast Inspections, Inc., a local residential and light commercial inspection company. During the summer and fall of 2009, he and Dad Little organized the new Advisory Council and oversaw the move of the Chapter from Friendswood to Alvin. He began serving John Wayne Chapter as the chapter advisor in January 2010. He has also been a member of the Advisory Council of the San Jacinto Area Priory, Order of the Knighthood since its inception in 2011, and has served as Priory Advisor to the Sir Knights since January 2014. At the 83rd Annual Texas DeMolay State Conclave in Austin, Dad Peebler was awarded the Guild of the Leather Apron Chapter Advisor of the Year 2012 Award by Texas Executive Officer and Past Grand Master, Weldon Clampitte. At the 94th Annual Session of the International Supreme Council of the Order of DeMolay, Dad Peebler was nominated and unanimously elected to receive the Degree of Chevalier. He was invested with the Degree of Chevalier on September 20, 2014. On November 8, 2014 Dad Peebler was elected to serve in 2015 as the Commander in the South for the Gulf Coast Court of Chevaliers. In April of 2015, Dad Peebler was awarded the Golden Trowel Award from Alvin Lodge No. 762 A.F. & A.M. for his service to DeMolay. On November 8, 2015, he was elected and installed to serve as the Commander in the West for the Gulf Coast Court of Chevaliers. At the 96th Annual Session of the International Supreme Council, which was held in San Diego, California, he was nominated and unanimously elected to receive the Active Legion of Honor. Dad Peebler was invested with the Legion of Honor under the auspices of the Houston Preceptory on August 13, 2016 in Alvin, TX. On November 8, 2016, Dad Peebler was elected and installed as the Commander of the Gulf Coast Court of Chevaliers for the 2016-2017 term. On July 31, 2017, Dad Peebler resigned his position as Chapter Advisor, but remained on the Advisory Council as one of the advisors. On July 30, 2018 Dad Peebler was appointed by Chairman Little to Chapter Advisor, serving in that capacity again until November 2019, when he was elected to serve as Chairman. On June 9, 2022 Dad Peebler was awarded a Life Membership in Alvin Lodge No. 762 A.F. & A.M. to honor his continued commitment to John Wayne Chapter No. 3667 and to DeMolay.
Chairman Emeritus, Chris Little

Dad Chris L. Little
Dad Little is a Past Master of Alvin Lodge #762 A.F. & A.M. 2008-2009, and Past President of the Masters, Wardens, and Secretarys Association Masonic District 31 during the year 2009-2010. He is also a Past High Priest of Park Place Chapter No. 458 Royal Arch Masons (2014-2015), Past Thrice Illustrious Master of Park Place Council No. 373 Royal & Select Masters (2013-2014), and Past Commander of Park Place Commandery No. 106 Knights Templar (2014-2015). Dad Little is a member of Alvin First United Methodist Church. He is and has been an active Boy Scout Assistant Scoutmaster at Troop 400 Grace Episcopal Church Alvin for the last three years, after being a Cub Scout Den Leader in Pack 400 for several years. He has been serving John Wayne Chapter as the chairman of the advisory council since January 2010. During the summer and fall of 2009, he and Dad Peebler organized the new Advisory Council and oversaw the move of the Chapter from Friendswood to Alvin. 2011 saw Dad Little complete all five Lessons of the Leadership Correspondence Course to earn his Lamp of Knowledge. He received further Advisor training in the summer of 2012 at the Great Plains Leadership Conference in Oklahoma. In 2013, he was elected by unanimous vote at the 93rd Session of the International Supreme Council Order of DeMolay in Minneapolis, Minnesota to receive the DeMolay Cross of Honor. In 2013, He once again attended the Great Plains Leadership Conference in Telaquah, Oklahoma. He also served as the Right Worshipful District Deputy Grand Master of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Texas A.F. & A.M., District 31-A for 2013-2014. Past Excellent Chief of Francis A. Fritz White Council of Knight Masons and Past Sovereign Master of John E. Musick Chapter Allied Masonic Degrees. In 2017, the International Supreme Council of the Order of DeMolay nominated and unanimously elected Dad Little to receive the Honorary Legion of Honor. He was invested with the Honorary Legion of Honor under the auspices of Houston Preceptory at Alvin, Texas on December 16, 2017. Dad Little served as Chairman and acting Chapter Advisor from August 1, 2017 until August 1, 2018. He then continued to serve as Chairman until November 2019, and is still a most valued and active member of the Advisory Council.

Camille Luke, Sweetheart Advisor

Mom Luke has had a lot of experience in the Masonic Family. She says she takes great pride in starting her family in Masonic organizations when she became a Rainbow Girl in Port Neches assembly #159. She served as Worthy Advisor for the Assembly, as well as Texas Rainbow as Grand Representative of Colorado (1992), Australia/Queensland (1993), and North Dakota (1995). Mom Luke is a Past Matron of both Port Neches and Pearland Eastern Star Chapters, and has served as Queen of Ramallah Temple No. 89, Daughters of the Nile, in Galveston and as our Manor Advisor for William A. Dixon, Jr., Squire Manor. Mom Luke serves outside the DeMolay capacity as Chaplain for Boy Scout Troop 404 in Pearland, she is a substitute teacher in Pearland ISD, and teaches the kids in her church at least once a month.
